Privacy notice
Privacy notice
Effective October 19, 2026. This notice explains what Raptor Media Group LLC ("we") collects through this website, through the LEO Document Assistant app, and for licensing, and what we do with it.
The short version
- This website counts visits in aggregate. It sets no cookies and does not track you across other sites.
- The app collects nothing. Case information stays on the officer's device and is never sent to us.
- For licensing, we hold basic agency and contact details, and no case data.
- We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
1. This website
Visit statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to this website. It does not use cookies or local storage and does not build a profile of you. It gives us aggregate figures such as the pages viewed, the referring website, the general type of browser and device, the country of the visit, and how quickly pages loaded. We use these figures only to understand which pages are useful and to keep the site working well. Because no cookies are used, there is no cookie banner.
Hosting and security logs
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We do not use this information to identify visitors.
When you contact us
The contact form on this site does not send or store anything. It opens a message in your own email program. When you email us, we receive what you choose to send, usually your name, agency, work email and message, and we use it to answer you, prepare quotes and keep business records. Please do not send case information or unredacted screenshots.
2. The app
- Case data: everything an officer enters for a case is processed in the officer's web browser, in memory only. It is not saved to disk, browser storage or any server, and it is never sent to us or anyone else. It is cleared when the tab or window is closed, two minutes after printing once the officer stops working, and after 15 minutes of inactivity.
- Agency profile: the agency name, county, motto and logo are saved in the browser on the device so they appear on each document. They can be exported to a file your agency keeps. This information is not case data.
- No analytics, tracking or crash reporting runs in the app, and none of this website's scripts load inside it.
- No network connections in the current version. The pilot runs as a single offline file and makes no connections at all.
A hosted version is in development. It will connect only to our license and update service, sending the license ID, the app version and profile changes made by your agency admin, and users will sign in through your agency's own identity system. We will update this notice before that version is offered.
3. Information we hold for licensing
For agencies and individual officers that subscribe to the app, we hold:
- agency name, address, contact person and ORI
- agency profile settings, such as court names, defaults and local-law packs
- license ID, seat count and expiry date
- names and work email addresses of agency administrators and individual subscribers
- the app and law-data version in use
- invoices, purchase orders and payment records. Card payments are handled by our payment processor, and we do not see or store full card numbers.
We use this information to provide, license, configure and support the app, to send notices about updates, and to invoice and keep financial records. We do not store passwords.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers that help us run the business, such as our web host, email provider and accounting software, who may use it only to provide their service to us
- when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others
- with a successor business if Raptor Media Group is sold or reorganized, under the same commitments as this notice.
5. How long we keep it
We keep licensing and contact information while your agency is a customer or in discussions with us, and afterward only as long as we need it for tax, accounting and legal obligations. Website visit statistics are aggregate and are kept by Cloudflare under its own retention terms.
6. Security
All connections to this website and our services are encrypted (HTTPS). We limit access to the information we hold to the people who need it. If a security incident affects private information we hold, we will notify those affected as required by New York General Business Law § 899-aa, and promptly in any case.
7. Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email contact@raptormediagroup.org and we will respond. To avoid visit statistics, you can block scripts from cloudflareinsights.com in your browser; the site works the same without them.
8. Children
This website and the app are intended for law enforcement agencies and their staff. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change affects what the app does with data, we will tell licensed agencies before the change takes effect.
